I can't find an app or game

If you're having trouble finding an app or game after searching on Google Play, here are some common troubleshooting steps.

Find previous downloads

If you're looking for an app you previously purchased or downloaded:

On your mobile device
  1. Open the Google Play Store app Play Store.
  2. Touch the Menu icon Google Play Store Menu Icon > My Apps > All.
On Android TV

Go to your device's main Settings menu > Apps.

Search terms

Make sure you've entered your search without misspellings or typos. It may help to change your search terms or make them more general, since publishers may occasionally change the name of an app or game.

If an app or game doesn't appear in your search results, it's possible the item isn't available in your country or compatible with your device. Developers can limit their apps or games to select countries, devices, and service providers.

Some apps and games can be removed from Google Play by a developer or for policy reasons. If an item has been removed, it won't be available for download.
