Subscribe to a book series

You can subscribe to certain series in Google Play Books, including manga. When there’s a new release for the series, your account automatically purchases the book for you.

Series subscription country availability

Series subscriptions are available in these countries:

• Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam

Subscribe to a series

1. On your iPhone, go to play.google.com.
2. Find the book or manga series you want to subscribe to.
3. If subscriptions are available, tap Subscribe Subscribe.
   • If you don’t find “Subscribe": Subscriptions aren’t available for the specific series.

4. When you subscribe to a series, new books in the series are automatically added to your library. To find them:
   1. On your iPhone open the Play Books app .
   2. At the bottom, tap Library.

Tips:

• If your form of payment fails, you don’t get new releases. If you don't update your form of payment within 30 days of the failed charge your subscription is cancelled.
• We try to notify you before an upcoming release, but you may not get a notification until the new release is available.

Cancel a series subscription

1. Go to play.google.com.
2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
3. On the left, tap My subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
5. Tap Manage Cancel Subscription.
6. Within the confirmation pop-up, click Yes.

How series subscriptions work

When you subscribe to a series:

• Your account automatically purchases future releases with your default form of payment. 
• Prices may vary for each release.
• Subscriptions don’t include currently available titles.

What's included in series subscriptions

• If a series has both volumes and issues: the subscription includes new issues.
• If a series has both books and omnibuses: the subscription includes new books.
