Get movie and TV recommendations based on the watchlist, watch activity, and streaming services connected to your Google Account.
How recommendations work
If Web & App Activity is turned on, Google makes recommendations based on several factors, which include:
- What you add to your watchlist
- What you watched on Google Play, Google TV, and Android TV
- Content you purchased or rented on Google Play, YouTube, Google TV, and Android TV
- Streaming services you selected
- Entertainment-related searches on Google Search or with the Google Assistant
- Specific titles you liked or disliked on Google Play, Google TV, or Google Search
- Trailers you watched on YouTube
- Popular content in your region
Tip:
- You can erase your past activity and data to reset your recommendations.
- New activity can give you fresh recommendations.
- To stop personalized recommendations, you can also turn off Web & App Activity.
