Create a Google Ads campaign for your app
To promote your app through ads, you can create a Google Ads Universal App Campaign or manage existing campaigns from your Play Console.

Create a campaign
Before users can create a Google Ads campaign, the account owner needs to create the first campaign or link to an existing Google Ads account. For future campaigns, other users with the "Create Google Ads campaigns" permission can create campaigns.
Note: To connect an existing Google Ads account to your Google Play developer account, select Settings > Linked accounts.
To create a campaign:
- Sign in to your Play Console.
- Select an app.
- On the left menu, select User Acquisition > Google Ads campaigns > New campaign.
- If you don't have an Google Ads account, select Create a new account.
- You'll be taken to Google Ads. To finish creating your campaign, follow the onscreen instructions.

To purchase ad translations, review the instructions on translate & localize your app.
Manage campaigns
After you've created a Google Ads campaign, you can review budgets, costs, statuses, and app installs.
- Sign in to your Play Console.
- Select an app.
- On the left menu, click User Acquisition > Google Ads Campaigns. If you need to make changes to a campaign, click a campaign link in the table. You'll be linked to Google Ads to manage your campaign settings.
