Supported devices

You can download a list of publicly launched devices supported for use with Google Play as a comma-separated values file (CSV) directly or programmatically using gsutil. Supported devices have passed the Android Compatibility Program.

On the CSV file, devices are ordered alphabetically (A-Z) by manufacturer name and listed in the following format:

Note: Because some manufacturers release multiple products that use the same value for build.os.MODEL, the supported devices CSV file may include more devices than the list on the Google Play Developer Console.

Download supported devices list from Google Cloud Storage

You can download the latest supported device list from Google Cloud Storage programmatically using the gsutil tool. Here’s how:

  1. Install the gsutil tool.
  2. Use the gsutil cp command to download the latest report.
    • Command: gsutil cp gs://play_public/supported_devices.csv /your/local/directory
