To help ensure the safety of children and prevent access to potentially harmful content, apps meeting the descriptions below are required to use the Play Console functionality and tools to block minors:
- Apps that facilitate real money gambling, games and contests.
- Apps whose core functionality is to facilitate matchmaking or dating. Apps where matchmaking or dating is an incidental feature are not required to block minors, provided that they implement appropriate age-verification safeguards to prevent minors from accessing those specific features.
