If you're an app developer looking for Google Play Console Help content, use the search bar or return to the homepage.
You can mark your SDK as deprecated and select a list of alternative SDKs to recommend to app developers. This information will be surfaced across Google Play Console, Google Play SDK Index and Android Studio.
Report your SDK as deprecated and select a list of alternative SDKs
- Open SDK Console and select SDKs on the left menu.
- Click the three dots symbol (⋮) next to the SDK you want to deprecate and choose "Report SDK as deprecated".
- You will need to confirm the SDK you want to deprecate by entering its maven identifier.
- You can select up to 5 alternative SDKs from the SDKs you own on the SDK Console to recommend to app developers across Google Play Console, Google Play SDK Index and Android Studio. You won’t be able to change them once you report the SDK as deprecated.
- Once you confirm by checking the checkbox, this action cannot be undone.
