Promotional content is a self-service tool in Google Play that lets you showcase fresh and timely content, such as special offers, limited-time events, and major updates.
Using promotional content can help you:
- Engage with users outside of your app.
- Encourage users to open or reinstall your app.
- Drive participation in offers, such as a discount or a store-wide sale.
- Attract new users to download your title.
Promotional content appears across the Google Play Store, including the Apps or Games tab, the Events tab, search results, and your store listing page. The Events tab is only available for games in select regions: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Taiwan, Türkiye, the UK, and the US.
