Verify your organisation

Before you can submit your app to Google Play for review, Google may request an official document so that we can verify your organisation. This helps us know who you are and helps us protect Google Play users from abuse.

Provide organisation documents

If you selected 'Company or business' as your organisation type, you must upload a certificate of organisation issued from the sign-up country, and a valid ID of the organisation's official representative issued in any country so that Google can verify your organisation. Please ensure that the document clearly states your organisation name as you registered in your Google Play Developer account. 

You may submit one of the following registration documents based on your country. Please ensure that the document clearly states your organisation name as you registered in your Google Play Developer account, and that the information that you provided as part of creating your developer account matches the details in the document that you provided. For example, the addresses should match.

United States	United Kingdom	India
IRS-issued documentation that states your organisation name, address and identification number (for example, CP575, 147C, CP299, 988, 937, 1050, 5822).  Forms submitted to the IRS will only be accepted if a copy of the form is available on the IRS website. Note: If you selected 'Government organisation' as your organisation type, you may submit documentation that verifies your affiliation to a government organisation and includes relevant government contact information on official letterhead for validation.
