Report inappropriate apps & comments

App developers and providers must adhere to Google Play Business and Programme Policies. If you see an app that doesn't follow these standards, here's how you can report it:

Using your Android device

  1. Open the Google Play Store Google Play Store app.
  2. Go to the app's detail page.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, select Flag as inappropriate.
  4. Select a reason.
  5. Touch Submit.

Using your computer

  1. Go to Google Play (play.google.com).
  2. Go to the app's detail page.
  3. Under "Additional information", click Flag as inappropriate.

Reviews & comments

If you see a review or comment that doesn't follow the standards of our comment posting policy, here's how you can report it:

Using your Android device

  1. Open the Google Play Store Google Play Store app.
  2. Go to the app's detail page.
  3. Next to the comment or review, touch the Google Play Feedback feedback icon.
  4. Choose Spam to flag the comment or review.

Using your computer

  1. Go to Google Play on your computer (play.google.com).
  2. Go to the app's detail page.
  3. Click the comment or review.
  4. On the comment or review, click the Flag as inappropriate flag icon.

Developer replies

Currently, some developers can publicly reply to any comment, subject to the Developer Comment Posting Policy. Users receive an email notification when a developer responds to their review. Users can opt out of these notifications.

If you've received a developer reply that doesn't follow these standards, please report it:

  1. Open the email notification for the developer reply.
  2. Click the Report developer reply link.
  3. On the Report Inappropriate Developer Reply form, type the information into the required fields.
