Can you set an alarm with vibration only and mute sound?

My Fitbit versa allowed me to set an alarm and wake me up by vibrations (as there was no speaker on the device). It was the perfect way to wake up as it did not wake up my partner. I haven't found a way to do that on the pixel watch.

I discovered that the functionality doesn't infact exist, however it isn't very intuitive. These are the steps I took to set vibration for an alarm without sound:

1. Set an alarm. Once you set an alarm, a green check mark appears and let's you know how long until the alarm goes off.
2. Return back to the clock face screen, then return back to alarm. Instead of seeing a "Set alarm" button, you will now see the time of the alarm that you set. Click on that alarm time.
3. You will then get taken to a list of various alarms (if you've set more than one in the past). You have the option to toggle them on or off OR you can select on the time itself.
4. If you select on the time itself, a new screen appears where you can adjust the frequency of the alarm (One day only) or specific days of the week. You can also toggle on/off vibration and toggle on/off sound!

Unfortunately that option is not currently available.

You can send feedback from your end once you have downloaded the Google Pixel Watch app on your phone. Simply tap on "Tips & Support" and you can submit a feedback.

I was able to mute the watch's notification sound from incoming text messages by going directly to the  "settings" on the watch itself (not the phone app), then selecting "sound," then selecting "Ring & notification volume," and using the "minus" sign to bring to zero.  So far this has resulting in no tone sound with texts, but still giving a (weak) haptic vibration, when a text comes in.  Not sure what the downside will be by doing that, but time will tell.  I have NOT tested this using the Alarm feature, however.
