Important: Diagnostics is only available for Pixel Watch 2.
When you chat with a Pixel Watch customer support agent, you may be asked to run a diagnostic check on your Watch. This check gets and sends useful information to Google support.
Agents use the information from this check to learn about your device and its sensors and help fix your issues. This check doesn't find out where you are. It also doesn't collect your personal health information like your steps, your heart rate, how much sleep you get, or heart test results.

Important: Any information shared by the Diagnostic tool is deleted after 14 days. If you select Close instead of I agree, the information is deleted right away and not shared.
Use LTE or Wi-Fi on your Pixel Watch to share diagnostic information with a customer support agent. To share diagnostic information:
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down then tap Settings
.
- Tap System
Diagnostics.
-
Start the check by following the steps on your screen.
-
If you have an LTE device, accept the exact location permission. This helps the diagnostic tool to check your phone’s signal and its strength. The tool won’t collect or know your exact location.
-
Accept the nearby devices permission. The tool checks which Bluetooth devices, like the phone that works with your watch, are connected. This helps fix problems when your watch and phone won't link up.
-
- If you choose to share the information with a support agent, tap I agree.
- Tap Support to continue on your phone. You can chat with an agent directly from here.
