Use this article to learn how to set and edit alarms, and manage notifications on your Google Pixel Watch.

Manage alarms and notifications
- On your Google Pixel Watch, press the side button next to the crown.
- Swipe up and tap All apps.
- Tap Alarm.
- Tap Add new alarm

- Set a time, then tap Confirm
.
Once your alarm has been created, it will be visible on the alarm screen.
Edit an alarm to:
- Change the alarm time.
- Change the schedule of alarms for days of the week.
- Turn the alarm vibration on or off.
- Turn the alarm sound on or off.
- Delete the alarm altogether.
- On the Google Pixel Watch, press the side button next to the crown.
- Swipe up and tap All apps.
- Tap Alarm.
- Tap the alarm that you want to edit. From here, you can change its alarm settings.
You can copy your phone alarms if you sync them over to your Pixel Watch. When you sync your phone and your Pixel Watch, both devices will alert you for each alarm.
- On your phone, open Clock

- Tap More
Settings.
- Turn on Alarm sync.
- Choose your watch and tap Sync.
Tap Alarm rings on to choose Adaptive ringing or Watch and phone.
Fix alarm sync issues
If the alarms on your watch and phone don't sync properly, check that both devices have the latest operating system and Clock app updates. Make sure that your watch is currently connected to your phone.
Set up notifications
Set up the app and phone notifications that you want to receive on your Pixel Watch.
- On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app

- Swipe up, then in the Settings section, tap Notifications.
- Tap App notifications.
- Choose a watch or phone app from the list to turn its notifications on or off.
For devices with Android 16 or newer, notifications may be muted and have haptics reduced if you get multiple of them from the same chat or app in a short period.
To enable or disable notification cooldown:
- On your phone, open Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Under 'General', tap Notification cooldown.
- Turn Use notification cooldown on or off.
- On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app

- Swipe up, then in the Settings section, tap Notifications.
- Choose a mute setting from the list to turn its sound or vibration on or off.
Important: This is only available to Pixel Watch 4 with Wear OS 5 and above.
- On the Google Pixel Watch, swipe up to show the notifications list.
- Touch and hold an app notification that you wish to turn off.
- Turn off the notification setting.
Learn about Notify when left behind
Important: This feature is off by default. When the feature is on, it will use your watch's location and nearby device permissions.
This feature works by sending an alert to your watch when you leave your phone behind.
To avoid unnecessary notifications, your watch will only send a reminder if you have disconnected and significantly changed your location.
To get started, make sure that you meet these requirements:

Important: Before you set up this feature, ensure that your watch is powered on, unlocked, positioned on your wrist and paired to your phone through Bluetooth.
- Open the Google Pixel Watch app

- Select your watch.
- Under 'Settings', tap Watch preferences

- On your Android phone, open Settings.

Set notification modes
Select a notification mode to temporarily pause multiple notifications at once. Swipe down from the top of the Google Pixel Watch screen and tap an icon to quickly switch to:
Bedtime mode automatically turns on based on your detected sleep. It disables the always-on display and notifications to ensure a disruption-free sleep and save battery life. When Bedtime mode is on, the watch screen, tilt-to-wake and touch are turned off. Nightlight is also enabled.
- Only alarms, priority and repeat callers notify you.
Turn on or off auto-entering and auto-exiting Bedtime mode (Pixel Watch 4 only)
On your Pixel Watch 4
- Swipe down on your screen.
- Touch and hold Bedtime mode

- Based on your preferred setting, turn Auto-enter or Auto-exit on or off.
Tip: Under the Bedtime settings, tap Customise to check advanced options like turning off alarm notifications and automatically switching to Greyscale.
On the Pixel Watch app
- Tap Watch preferences

- Under 'Auto-bedtime', turn Auto-enter and Auto-exit on or off.
Aeroplane mode turns off all radios on your watch: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE and GPS/GNSS. You can turn each of these on independently.
Cinema mode turns off your screen temporarily and suppresses notifications and incoming calls.
Do Not Disturb turns off notifications and silences incoming calls. Press and hold to customise exceptions for priority and repeat callers, alarms and media sounds.
Battery Saver turns off always-on display and tilt-to-wake settings.
Touch lock turns off the ability to navigate the screen with touch.
Find your phone with your Pixel Watch
Your Pixel Watch can help you find your phone by making it ring, even if the volume is turned off or set to vibrate.
Before you make your phone ring, make sure that your phone is:
- Connected to your watch by Bluetooth
- Close enough that you can hear it
Make your phone ring
- Swipe down from the clock face to access quick settings.
- Tap Ring Phone
and wait for your phone to ring.
