We recommend that you take the watch off after it gets wet and that you dry it well before you put it back on.2

However, it should not be underwater for more than 24 hours, used during high-speed or high-impact water sports or exposed to soapy water or other liquids. Monitor sleep habits

How to Track your Sleep on your Google Pixel Watch

Important: Pixel Watch 2, 3, 4, and 5 have a dedicated sensor to monitor variations in your sleeping skin temperature7 related to your wellness. After a sleep lasting more than three hours, Pixel Watch 2 and 3 track and report blood oxygen saturation (SpO2)4

Set sleep goals, track your sleep stages and manage reminders to wind down. For sleep tracking, you'll need a minimum 20% charge. During your morning routine or wind-down time at night, charge the battery. This helps to ensure that the battery lasts while in Bedtime mode.

Learn how your Google Pixel Watch can help to track your sleep.

Pixel Watch 5 offers additional features to improve your bedtime experience. Additional settings for sleep and bedtime include:

Smart Wake alarms

Your watch identifies the optimal light sleep phase with 30 minutes of your set alarm. It starts a progressive but gentle alarm during your light sleep to minimise morning grogginess for a more refreshed morning.

Manage health, heart rate and ECG

How to use health tracking on Google Pixel Watch 2

Important: Pixel Watch 2, 3, 4 and 5 have a multipath heart rate sensor. This sensor captures up to 40% more accurate heart rate tracking during vigorous activities like HIIT, spinning and rowing6. Your watch can also alert you during periods of abnormally high and low heart rate throughout the day.

The Google Health app on Pixel Watch can give you insights into data about your health and heart rate. Learn more about health, heart rate and ECG tracking on Pixel Watch.5

Understand body-response sensor for stress management

With all-day body-response tracking8 using a cEDA sensor, you can identify physical signs of stress, excitement, the effects of caffeine and more. Over time, you'll be able to recognise your stress triggers and manage them in the moment.

For more information, refer to Manage stress and mindfulness in Google Health.

Track deviations in sleeping skin temperature

The Pixel Watch 2, 3, 4 and 5 come with a dedicated skin temperature sensor that measures your skin temperature at your wrist while you're sleeping.
