Charge your Pixel Watch
- Plug the Pixel Watch Google Pixel Watch Quick Charge Dock (included with Pixel Watch) into a power source.
- Place your Pixel Watch on the charger with its crown facing up. Your Pixel Watch screen shows a brief animation to indicate that it’s charging.

Plug the Pixel Watch USB-C Magnetic Charging Cable (included with Pixel Watch) into a power source3.

Place your Pixel Watch on the magnetic charging cable.
Pixel Watch 2 & 3 only: Align the 4 points on the back of the watch with the 4 corresponding pins on the charger. Ensure the watch's crown faces the same direction as the cable extending from the charger.
Tip: The Pixel Watch 4 displays on-screen alerts to guide you through resolving common charging issues.
If Pixel Watch has not been charging, the cause could be:
Improper connection to the charger
- After several seconds of an improper charger connection, you should receive a notification on your watch. Remove and replace the watch to fix this issue.
- Check that the crown is aligned with the charging cable.
Pixel Watch 2 and 3: Make sure the 4 charging pins on the charger are aligned with the 4 contacts on the back of the watch. Pixel Watch 4 alerts you if the charger is misaligned. - Pixel Watch 4: Clear the area around the charger so the watch can rest properly in the dock without being obstructed.
Incompatible charger or cable used
- Pixel Watch 1 to 3: These Pixel Watch versions can only be charged using the supplied Google Pixel Watch Magnetic Charging Cable. Using different chargers might not work and could damage the watch.
- Pixel Watch 4: You will receive a notification that the charger is unsupported. Make sure to use the official charger included in the box.
- Reverse wireless charging from Pixel phones isn’t supported.
Moisture
- Do not charge your watch if it’s wet. Pixel Watch 4 alerts you if it detects moisture. Wipe the watch and charger before you charge your watch.

Extend battery life

Adaptive charging minimizes battery degradation, which occurs when the watch remains fully charged for extended periods.
To enable Adaptive charging:

Improve battery life
These features and tips can help your Google Pixel Watch battery last longer.
You can turn on Battery Saver when your Google Pixel Watch battery gets low. Battery saver mode automatically turn on when your battery reaches 15%.
Battery Saver mode disables the always-on display but keeps tilt-to-wake enabled. Background activity is limited, and notifications might be delayed.

Battery Saver mode allows you to:

Important: Battery Saver mode can maximize your watch battery life, for up to 36 hours from 100% state of charge on Pixel Watch 3, up to 48 hours on Pixel Watch 4 (41mm), and up to 72 hours on Pixel Watch 4 (45mm).3 This includes activities like:
- Getting notifications about emails and social media
- Receiving notifications
- Checking the time
- Making calls
- Using GPS during workouts (without music)
The Tilt-to-wake feature wakes your display when you tilt Google Pixel Watch. To extend watch battery life, you can turn this feature off.

The Always-on Display feature prevents the watch screen from going dark even when you're not using it. To extend watch battery life, turn this feature off.

Turn on Bedtime mode for less battery drainage and minimal interruptions overnight when you wear the watch for sleep tracking. You can manually enter or exit Bedtime mode by going to your quick settings and tapping Bedtime mode .
Bedtime mode automatically turns on based on your detected sleep. When Bedtime Mode is on, watch screen, Tilt- to- Wake and touch will be turned off. Only alarms, priority and repeat callers will notify you.

Google Pixel Watch has 8-10 hours of battery life with continuous GPS use.
Google Pixel Watch LTE supports cellular radio connectivity when you have the watch's eSIM activated. If your Google Pixel Watch is losing charge too quickly when connected to the network, extend the battery by setting Mobile Mode to Automatic or Off.
Automatic: Only connect to cellular radio when there is no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity.
Off: Completely turn off the cellular radio.
