Customize your watch face and background
Select a premade or create a custom watch face to personalize your Pixel Watch. In addition to color and layout, you can choose widgets called complications to add to your watch face gallery. Add complications if you want to display information other than time, like weather or step count, to the watch face.
Select a new watch face
- Press and hold your watch face.
- Swipe left and choose a new watch face.
- Select by tapping the watch face you want from the list, or edit its colors and complications first by tapping Edit
.
Select a personal photo for a watch face
If you select the Photos watch face, you can add 30 photos from your personal photo album to use as your watch face.
Personalize your watch face
- Press and hold your watch face.
- To personalize the color and layout, tap Edit
- Swipe left to scroll through the styles and complication layouts.
Set up and add screen tiles
Tiles work like shortcuts for accessing your favorite features or actions.
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe to any tile, then press and hold the tile.
- Tap Add

- Swipe up to go through the tiles and tap the one you would like to add.
Remove screen tiles
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe to any tile, then press and hold the tile.
- Swipe left or right to navigate to the tile you want to delete.
- Swipe up to delete the tile.
Change audio, screen, and brightness settings
To change most settings on Google Pixel Watch:
- Tap the watch face if your screen is dim.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings

- From here, you can:
- Lock your watch screen
- Tap Sound to turn the volume up or down
- Tap Vibration to turn vibrations on or off
- Tap Display to adjust brightness, font size, and more
