Compatibility requirements and region availability for Google Pixel Watch

Network and device compatibility

To connect Google Pixel Watch, you need a compatible Android phone running Android OS version 8.0 or higher. iOS phones are not currently supported.

Region availability

Google Pixel Watch is available for purchase and use in the following countries or regions:

  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Ireland (Google Pixel Watch Wi-Fi only)
  • Japan
  • Taiwan
  • United Kingdom

Note: If you're in a supported country, using a supported carrier, and can't find the Google Pixel Watch app, check your Google Play Store account to confirm that the address on file is located in a supported country or region.

LTE cellular connection

The Google Pixel Watch 4G LTE option is unlocked at the time of purchase so you can activate it with a compatible carrier. Both your Google Pixel Watch and phone require the same carrier.

If you choose to activate a 4G LTE plan for your Google Pixel Watch LTE, your watch should connect directly to your mobile carrier. Your watch and your phone must use the same carrier. Stream music, make and receive calls and text messages, and contact emergency services without your paired phone nearby.
