Use and customise Quick Settings on Pixel Tablet

The Quick Settings menu gives you fast access to and control over the settings that you use most.

Note: Some features are not available in all countries or languages.

Open Quick Settings

1. Swipe down from the top of your tablet's screen.
2. To find all of your Quick Settings, swipe right on the settings.

Turn Quick Settings on or off

• Tap a setting to turn it on or off. Dimmed settings are off.
• Touch and hold a setting for more options.

Useful Quick Settings

• Brightness slider: At the top, drag the brightness slider left or right to make the screen dimmer or brighter.
• Mic access: Tap to allow or block microphone access.
• Camera access: Tap to allow or block camera access.
• Home: Tap to open the home panel to control compatible smart home devices.
• Screen saver: Tap to turn on your currently selected screen saver.

Customise your Quick Settings

You can customise the Quick Settings menu to display or hide specific settings:

1. Swipe down from the top of your screen.
2. Tap Edit .
3. Scroll up and down to find settings that you want to add or remove.
4. Add or remove each setting.
   • To add a setting, drag it to the top pane.
   • To remove a setting, drag it to the bottom pane.
5. Tap back .
