Send text messages on your Pixel Tablet

Use the by Google Messages app to sync text messages from your Android phone to your Pixel Tablet. When you sync text messages:

• Contacts and call history are synced with your Pixel Tablet
• Text messages appear on your tablet when they're sent to your phone
• You can send and respond to text messages on your Pixel Tablet

Note: You can't sync text messages from your iPhone^Ⓡ on your Pixel Tablet. Some features are not available in all countries or languages.

Sync contacts and text messages

1. On both your Pixel Tablet and Android phone, open the Google Messages app .
2. On your phone, tap Menu   Device pairing QR code scanner.
3. On your phone, scan the QR code that appears on your Pixel Tablet's screen.

Stop syncing contacts and text messages

1. On your Pixel Tablet, open the Google Messages app .
2. Tap More Unpair Unpair.
