Enable in-ear detection with your Google Pixel Buds

With in-ear detection enabled, a sensor in the right earbud will be able to detect when Pixel Buds are being worn. When the right earbud is removed, the buds will automatically pause your music and switch into sleep mode. To wake your Pixel Buds, place the right earbud back into your ear.

To enable in-ear detection:

1. Connect your Pixel Buds to your phone.
2. Navigate to Headphones Settings.
   1. Press and hold the center button on your phone to invoke your Google Assistant
      
   2. Tap Headphones Settings
      
3. Toggle In-ear Detection 

Triple tap the right earbud to manually toggle the sleep and wake functions.
