Get the right fit

Gently insert your earbud into the ear. After inserting each earbud, slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head or tap either earbud.

Improve the fit

Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.

Eartip Seal Check

Eartip Seal Check can help you check the quality of your eartip seal and get the best possible sound.

  1. On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to your phone’s Settings and then Connected devices and then Pixel Bud's settings Settings.
On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app Pixel Buds.
  2. Tap Eartip Seal Check.

Since every ear is unique, it’s not always possible to get a perfect seal, and audio can “leak” in from outside. With Silent Seal™, Pixel Buds Pro can adapt to the shape of your ear and adjust Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to compensate, so you can fully immerse yourself in music or clearly hear your video call.

Comply TrueGrip™ eartips

If you’re not getting a perfect fit with our silicone eartips, memory foam eartips might be worth a try.

You can purchase Comply TrueGrip™ eartips for Google Pixel Buds Pro from the Google Store.
