We are constantly looking to improve the experience that you have with Pixel Buds. To evaluate the reliability, usability, and use of various features, the Google Pixel Buds app reports information about how you use the app and headphones.
Specifically, the Google Pixel Buds app collects and reports anonymized data about how you use the headphones, including:
- Information about gestures you may use (increasing volume, decreasing volume, answering calls, ending calls)
- Bluetooth® connection and disconnection events
- Crash events
- Additional diagnostic and usage data
If you’d like to disable this, you can uncheck the “Send Diagnostics” checkbox when you first setup the device, or turn off the toggle in your Google Pixel Buds settings.
Pixel on Android 10 or higher: Go to your Bluetooth menu and tap the Settings icon by your Pixel Buds name.
Other Android devices: Look for the Google Pixel Buds app.
Then tap More settings About. Unchecking the “Send diagnostics” checkbox won't affect your Google Assistant settings.
