Control your media with Google Pixel Buds

With Google Pixel Buds, you can listen to your favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks with a few simple commands. 

Controlling media is available in the following markets: US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.



To play or pause media

Tap on the right earbud



To increase volume

Swipe forward on the right earbud



To decrease volume

Swipe backward on the right earbud

Request Media

Touch & hold the right earbud while you talk to request media.

Example: "Play rock music"

If you haven't chosen a preferred media service, your Google Assistant will ask you to select a service the first time you request music and then it will begin playing your media. For more information on selecting a preferred music service, go here. Subscriptions and fees may apply.

  • YouTube Music

Radio services supported by the Google Assistant include:

  • iHeartRadio
  • TuneIn
