With Google Pixel Buds, you can listen to your favorite music, podcasts, and other audio with a few simple gestures and Assistant voice commands.
Play or pause media
Tap on either earbud
Increase volume
Swipe forward on either earbud (gesture not available on Pixel Buds A-Series)
You can also control the volume by saying, “Hey Google, turn up the volume.”
You can also adjust the volume automatically with Adaptive Sound. As you move between quiet and noisy places, Adaptive Sound dynamically adjusts the volume based on the noise level of your surroundings.
On your phone, swipe down and long press on the Bluetooth® icon, then tap the settings icon by your Pixel Bud’s name. Tap Sound Adaptive Sound to turn it on.

If Google Assistant is set up and you’re on an Android phone, you can ask your Google Assistant to play some music for you. To request media through the Google Assistant, touch & hold either earbud or say “Hey Google.”
