Get more bass with bass boost on your Pixel Buds

Bass boost will add more oomph to your audio. This feature can be activated with a device running Android 6.0 or newer.

Important: If you are using Pixel Buds A-Series, you can customize your bass. If you are using Pixel Buds Pro, adjusting bass is one of several EQ settings.

Turn on bass boost

1. On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to your phone’s Settings Connected devices Pixel Bud's settings .
   On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app .
2. Tap Sound.
3. Turn on Bass boost.¹

Once enabled from your Pixel Buds settings, Bass boost will be persistent across other devices such as a laptop or a tablet.
