Manage your individual payments profile

When you first make a purchase through Google, your payment info gets saved in a payments profile. The next time you buy something through Google, you can reuse the info in the profile.

Any payments profile you create is associated with your Google Account.

Your individual Google payments profile stores info like:

  • The name, address, and tax ID, when required legally, of who's responsible for the profile.
  • Credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, and other payment methods you’ve used to buy through Google in the past.
  • You can use other addresses that you added across Google services, like autofill on Chrome and Google Pay.
  • Receipts and other info about past transactions.
  • Subscriptions and recurring payments.

Manage more than one payments profile

If you use your profile for personal payments, you can only create one individual profile for the country or region you're in. That way, you can manage all of your Google purchases from a single place.

You can have multiple payments profiles if you:

Edit a profile

  1. Sign in to Settings.
  2. If you have more than one profile:
    1. In the top left next to your name, click Down Down arrow.
    2. Choose the profile you want to edit.
  3. Make your edits. You can change information like your address and payment methods.
  4. Save your edits.
Change your name

Edit your name in settings

  1. Sign into Settings.
  2. Next to "Name," click Edit Edit.
    • If you can’t edit your name, click Change name. Follow the steps to complete the name change form.
  3. Enter your updated name.
  4. Click Save.

To change your verified name in your payments profile, you may need to provide more info and documentation to re-verify your name. If you can’t edit the name field in Settings:

  1. Below your name, click Change name.
  2. Click Start name change.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your info and upload documents.

Troubleshoot issues changing your name

If you can’t change your payments profile name with the steps above, fill out a form to request a payments profile name update.

Update other settings
  1. Sign into Settings.
  2. If you have more than one profile:
    1. In the top left next to your name, click Down Down arrow.
    2. Choose the profile that you want to edit.
  3. Make your edits. You can change info like your address.
  4. Click Save.
