Help people find & pay you (Singapore only)

When you get started with the new Google Pay app, you get an option to let people use search to find you. This makes it easier for people with your phone number or email to find your name and photo across Google services. It also lets them use Google Pay to send you money. If this setting is off, you need to perform additional steps to receive money.

Turn on Allow people to find you

To turn on the “Allow people to find you” setting, the receiver must:

1. Open the new Google Pay app .
2. On the Pay screen , at the top right, tap your Profile picture or Account .
3. Tap Settings Privacy and Security.
4. Turn on Allow people to find you.

Tip: In the new Google Pay app, if you sent or received money with a friend or started a chat with them, they can find you on the app with your phone number even if this setting is off.
