How Google Pay keeps your info private

How Google Pay privacy settings work

Share your Google Pay info with other companies
Important: Even if this setting is off, you might still find Google Pay as an option when you shop online.
This setting helps you use Google Pay to check out quickly and securely when you purchase items from other companies. By default, it is on, so Google can tell companies that you can use Google Pay.
Share your credit info with other Google companies (US only)
If this setting is on, Google can use info like your spending habits to help you get other Google products. For example, if you want to buy a phone from the Google Store, you might be able to pay for it over time.

Why this setting is required

The US Fair Credit Reporting Act requires this setting.
