Earn cash back for making purchases from certain merchants.
Eligibility for merchant cash back offers
Users can only be rewarded once for a transaction. Policies differ between retail and dining offers.Retail offers
If you activate another cash back offer for the same merchant through a different rewards program, like Rakuten or United Airlines (MileagePlus Shopping), only the last offer activated will be honored. For example, if you activate an offer for the merchant on Rakuten after activating an offer on Google Pay, you will not be rewarded in Google Pay.
Dining offers
If you earn points for the purchase through a loyalty program, you're not eligible to earn cash back rewards through Google. Loyalty programs may include airline, hotel, or dining reward programs, such as Rakuten or Neighborhood Nosh.
Tip: This applies to any credit card enrolled in a program, even if it is not an airline or hotel loyalty credit card.
