About offers & rewards

When you complete qualifying actions, like make a purchase, send money, or refer friends, you can earn rewards with the Google Pay app.

How to earn most rewards

Steps 1 – 5 are for the first 4 offer types: Welcome offers, merchant offers, tap offers, and Google Pay balance card offers.

  2. At the top right, tap your profile picture or Account .

These card types aren't eligible for offers and rewards:

  • Private label charge cards from a specific store
  • Prepaid cards, like Visa Buxx
  • Prepaid insurance cards
  • Gift cards
  • Cards added to Google Pay directly from another mobile payments app or credit card-issuer app
