Manage linked transaction data from Gmail and Photos (US only)

Important: This article is for users who previously linked a bank account with Plaid in the U.S. version of the Google Pay app.

In your Google Pay settings, you can link and unlink Gmail and Photos.

Manage Gmail

Receipts, offers, tickets, loyalty cards, bills, and more can be added to Google Pay automatically when you link your Gmail.

Link or unlink Gmail

1. Open the Google Pay app .
2. Tap your profile picture  Settings  Privacy & security  Linked transaction data.
3. Turn Gmail on or off.
   • To revoke permission for financial data from Gmail, in the pop-up message, tap Disconnect.

Manage Photos

To have receipts automatically added to Google Pay, you can connect Google Photos.

Link or unlink Photos

1. Open the Google Pay app .
2. Tap your profile picture  Settings  Privacy & security  Linked transaction data.
3. Turn Photos on or off.
   • To revoke permission for Google Photos, in the pop-up message, tap Disconnect.
