Expanded storage

Your storage covers Google Drive, Gmail, and original quality images in Google Photos. You can choose how much storage you want from a list of options, and you can upgrade at any time. 

Benefits

After joining Google One, members can receive benefits redeemable in places like Google Play and the Google Store. Some benefits are only for the Google One member. Other benefits apply to everyone in the Google One member's family group.

Enhanced customer support

All Google One members get direct access to experts for help with Google products and services. Experts can assist you in various languages.

Family-friendly plans

Google One members can share their plan features (storage, benefits, support) with up to 5 family members. Each person gets 15 GB of default storage space, and the rest of the storage is split between everyone in the family group.

About Google One membership plans

Everyone with a Google account starts out with the basic 15-gigabyte plan, which is free. If you get Google One, there are six other storage plan options to choose from, depending on your location.

If you change your storage limit, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to apply to your account.

You can choose a plan that's best for you and your day-to-day needs. For some plans, you can also pay annually instead of monthly.

  1. 100 gigabytes

    • Available with a monthly or yearly plan

  2. 200 gigabytes

    • Available with a monthly or yearly plan

  3. 2 terabytes

    • Available with a monthly or yearly plan

  4. 10 terabytes

    • Only available as an upgrade for existing members

  5. 20 terabytes

    • Only available as an upgrade for existing members

  6. 30 terabytes

    • Only available as an upgrade for existing members

Set up a Google One account

You can use more storage for Google Drive, Gmail, and Google photos, along with other additional benefits with a Google One subscription. You can also share your membership with your family. Learn how to purchase more storage through the Google Drive app

Step 1 (Optional): Create a Google account

To get a Google One membership, you need to be signed in with your personal Google account. If you don't have one yet, you need to make an account.

Step 2: Start using Google One

All Google accounts get up to 15 gigabytes of storage for free. If you want more storage, access to Google experts, special benefits, and other Google One features, you need to upgrade to another plan.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, make sure you're signed into your Google account.
  2. From the Play Store, download the Google One app.
  3. In the Google One app, at the bottom, tap Upgrade.
  4. Choose your new storage limit.
  5. Review the new plan pricing and payment date, then tap Continue.
  6. To confirm your Google One plan, select your payment method and tap Subscribe.

You can also use Google One on your computer if you visit one.google.com.
