How do I customize the Suggested Articles when I open Chrome? I deleted some that were not of interest to me but that actually made the remaining ones even less relevant to what I wanted. Is there somewhere where I can customize the kinds of articles that are suggested?

This didn't help at all. It's no wonder this answer got 11 thumbs down and only 2 thumbs up.

None of what is described in this answer as ways to "curate" the suggested articles exists. There is no triple dots settings button next to any of the articles, nor is there any of the "change your interests" settings anywhere near the suggested articles that Rakesh Kumar mentioned are there.

I suggest Rakesh, or someone, do an update to this answer and tell us how the heck we are supposed to customize or curate these suggested articles.

The suggestions don't reflect anything to do with what I'm interested in/what I browse.

It gets it right sometimes in some of my sports things, but that's about it.

I expect more from Google Chrome.

I'm with you Frank, I can only swipe the articles of stupid cricket matches in  India away. There are no triple dots to open up and tell Google I want less stories about a stupid sport in a country I could care less about.

The answers above are correct - but it is not clear that to see and customise news in this way it should be done from news.google.com NOT the chrome new tab PAGE.

It is simply not true that one can personalize or change the inane articles on the 'news' feed. It's actually mostly bs infotainment, video game crap, sports which I have zero interest in, and yet they dominate my feed....no analytics nor surfing behavior being used here!
I've tried hiding stories, using the 3 dots, it does NOTHING. And its so funny that Mr. Conservative above thinks it's all liberal news media.....my feed is MOSTLY FOX News!!! Can't stand it....
Google obviously has an agenda, it lets me have zero control over my news feed.... you'd think they would actually want to help people personalize their own experience since it's so ugly and maddening to be force fed stories on subjects we have no interest in. I play NO video games, yet endless media from the gaming industry!!!
