Google is a news aggregator. It has no control over the content. The stories shown are based on the users' interests, as identified by the system. It all by machines... And (at least for now) machines are not politically biased.

machines only perform in response to the programming and not as innocent as you try to convey.  Valid research done by a respected (leftist0 has proven and published results.

I don't trust Google. I want my children and grandchildren to search and find unbiased answers by the search engine. I would like them to use Google to get information and then make their own choices about politics etc. That is not possible with Google and I don't want my family brainwashed by them.

In the UK the Google news I'm being fed certainly has a left wing bias.   Android pop-ups are generally the Guardian (which has a tiny circulation) and the Independent (which nobody reads).  And larger screens are littered with artlcles from the Mirror.   If this is based on a search algorithm and not political bias there's something seriously wrong with Google's software.

Surprisingly, I can't report to Google the fact that when you google Fox news they are listed as a conservative news organization yet MSNBC has no such adjective to describe it's liberal-leaning news and opinion.  Subtle bias on the part of Google..

It does not have a liberal bias. It's just that you're all such bat shit crazy right wing extremists that pretty much everything short of Breitbart seems liberal to you. It's all about perspective.

If you believe that google has no control over content, then you are probably naive and watch only liberal new media and have your face glued to facebook and twitter. Google absolutely has control over content and they control the format, and the responses you get from your inquiries
