I have multiple Nest sensors but the schedule times are not correct. I would to change the times for Night to start at 11pm not 9pm.

This is a yes or no question. Do you plan on adding the ability to set custom times for sensor schedules or not?

And don't give me any canned response about appreciating my feedback and forwarding it to the team, just tell me if this is a feature that will actually be added or not.

If not, then let us know so we can either get a new thermostat or decide if we want to wait for it to be released. Dates would also be appreciated. Otherwise what's the point of this help forum if no real answers are given.

The devs have apparently been aware of the issue at least since mid 2019, when the first thread on this issue was created.

I just got one of these, and I really don't get why I can't just select a sensor for each spot on the schedule.  Especially now that so many are working from home, we use our houses in different ways during the week and on weekends.  Seems like such an obvious hole in the functionality, and one very easily filled.

It needn't be that specific, though.  Just add some functionality to the app - a long press on a dot in the schedule lets the user select a sensor to use for that dot.  This way, you can use different sensors for different days of the week.

I am also very interested in a change to this feature. I agree, this has been a customer request since 2019... the forum posts keep on getting re-opened and closed with no changes made. Can we please have an update on any upcoming adjustments? What is the update from the first request in 2019? Is that ticket open? Was that ticket dismissed? What about the requests from 2020? 2/6/21, 1/20/21, 1/6/21, 12/30/20, 8/17/20, 11/13/19. What is the status of those requests? The current time blocks are a great start, but my weekend needs for my office are very different than the week. The morning & afternoon blocks miss my needs by about 2 hours (so being able to adjust the hours would be very helpful) but my weekend setup is quite terrible with the current lack of day-to-day adjustability.

The thing stopping me from buying one are all the Amazon reviews pointing out this huge flaw. I came here to see if this is still the case, and yup, it is. Nice Google.

This has been an issue since the introduction of the sensor product.  I was one of the early purchasers of this device and truly thought this would be in the class of Ecobee's sensor product.  It obviously isn't even close and once I discovered all the holes in this product and how truly limited it was in its functionality, I returned it for a refund.  My only thought since it never been enhanced, is that it probably has hardware limitations that are restricting the software changes necessary to make this useful product in the eyes of many.

Sort of similar to the lack of a hold temperature feature on the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest-E.  It took a new model just released to finally get a hold feature.  Maybe we will see a new sensor someday in the future.  Don't hold your breath though.  It's taken many years just to get that hold button!
