Hey,
I have bought a Universal Infrared Blaster from Smart Life.
From the Smart Life app, it's all good.
When I'm trying to connect google home to the smart life app, nothing happens after the authentication, this video explains-

If I'm trying to do that through google assistant, after the authentication it takes me for the "select a room" page just for a second, then it quits and says "device linked successfully" - again, nothing happens, no device.

Tried to remove Google Home App, Remove Google App, nothing helps.
Android User.

Any Help?

Having the same issue here! I used to have Tuya Smart and Geeni accounts linked to Google Home. Now, any of the 3 services (made by the same company) are working...

Same issue here.  Added additional "Smart Life" devices to my "Smart Life" app today. Couldn't find them in Google Home, even though the "Smart Life" skill was linked.

Unlinked "Smart Life," then tried to link it again in the Google Home app.  I get thru the "Authorize" screen (meaning my Smart Life name and password are correct), then a brief "Smart Life is linked" message, followed by "Something went wrong. Try again."

Installed and reinstalled Google Home app, tried both iOS and Android, same issue.

I can't talk to any of my Smart Life devices in Google Home and the skill does not appear in the Linked list.

Same issue. I can't get Google assistant to link with smart life, "couldn't update setting, please check connection"

Same here  "couldn't update setting, please check connection". I linked 2 smart plugs a few weeks ago and within the last few days Google home won't work with them. They still turn off and on through the smart life app.
