I've searched Google help and many other postings.

Mine has been running in my shed hitting negative temps in Wisconsin for past three winters. Been working fine. I have it inside a weather proof plastic box and I think it creates enough heat for itself.

I have mine in an unheated detached garage. It has been working fine but I think I am going to bring in indoors since I don't spend much time outdoors during winter.

Electronics have operating temperature specs going outside of these will either shorten the life or causing immediate failure.

I've had one in a detached garage (unheated) for two years now. Zero issues. The garage is insulated so rarely if ever dips into the negatives, but def does get chilly.

You’d have much more issues should you be experiencing the opposite in that of heat. Google WiFi is already so cool that cold doesn’t really affect its performance.

In Winnipeg the outdoor cams can operate in -40 celcius I don't see any reason the wifi puck wouldn't survive at those temps, I will try a puck this winter placing it under roof overhang.
