Nest Hello face detection not recognizing saved faces any more. 0 Recommended Answers 2 Replies 0 Upvotes
I subscribe to Nest Aware and have been using the Face Detection feature for a year now. A few days ago I went through the saved faces we had and removed a select few that were inaccurate or extremely blurry. Just tried to clean up the archive, thinking that it might speed up the notifications we get.
Instead, the doorbell no longer recognizes faces and just calls everybody “Someone a was spotted”.
The face profiles are all still saved in the Nest app with a plethora of iterations of the same faces. It also doesn’t offer me the option to save these unrecognized faces either, so I can’t even create a new face profile with our faces.
How do I get Face detection to start working again?
