How do I completely remove someone's access to my camera? 1 Recommended Answer 5 Replies 0 Upvotes

My ex-roomate still gets notifications on her phone when my camera sees a person. I assume this means she also has access to watch the camera live.

I removed her from "Family & Guests" months ago. Camera sharing isn't enabled.

How do I remove her access?

Hi RandoOK,
I would like to try to help you troubleshoot. I see that you remove her access already. Can you tell me if you are the Home Manager? It's important that the Home Manager removes her from the Family via the Home app and not just the Nest app. Please reply to let me know either way.

By "home app", do you mean home.nest.com?

I just went to home.nest.com -> person icon -> settings -> Family & Guests, and she isn't on that list, just like on the iPhone app.

Is that what you meant?

Also, it's possible (but unlikely) that I gave her the password to my nest account, and that's how she has access.

How do you confirm if someone is removed from the home app.  I want to remove someone's Google access.

Hi Roxanne, To see who is invited, or is a current family member. Go to the app go to settings> and then family.
