My Nest Hello facial recognition is not working as described. I have a subscription to Nest Aware and facial recognition is one of the features I most want. Lately the notifications I am getting say person spotted or familiar face even though myself and my wife are identified in my list of familiar faces. I have worked with the support people on this and even worked with a senior advisor today. He had me delete the Nest app on all my devices and reinstall them toggling on and off the familiar face detection in settings. It worked briefly and then it was back to the same issue. I call back this afternoon and was told this is a new software issue just brought to the support teams attention today. Funny thing is I read a similar post dated 1 year ago. If this isn’t resolved then I see no point of renewing my Nest Aware subscription.
