I have piecemealed my Smart Home together over the last year and I want to reset EVERYTHING and set it up from scratch. I  just want to disconnect and reset i want to start from square one. I want to wipe my Google home account clean. I have 3 GH Minis, 2 Wyze Cameras, a 1st gen Chromecast Video, a 1st Gen Chromecast audio, 10 hue white bulbs, 1 hue colored bulb, 1 TP Link wall plug in, 1 iDevices wall plug in, Hue Bridge, a MiBox 3. I have a Windows 10 pc, imac, iphone and ipad. I am on Comcast with only internet and i utilize their apps to monitor my usage. I primarily rely on my google homes to operate all my devices but i do have the home app set up on my iphone too. Sorry for the long explanation but I just want to start over and i can find the solution i like. I live by myself in a 2 bedroom apartment. Thanks

Thanks very much. As it turned out I’m going to wipe out my Apple HomeKit and hue while I’m at it. I had over 55 “scenes” in my Hue app that I wiped. Now I should have a leaner cleaner set up. Kind of like reformatting computer. I had it all cobbled together as I added pieces here and there over the last year and dabbled with other apps that had lights flashing off and on randomly! 😀

No problem Todd, happy to help.

One thing I would say is don't underestimate the power of scenes, especially when used with Google. While I don't use Hue, I do use SmartThings and leverage their scenes together with Google Routines quite heavily.

Sometimes where I need to turn on multiple devices in a routine, I find it easier creating a scene in the 3rd party platform and then use the Google routine to trigger the scene - it seems a little more reliable right now.

Anyway, feel free to come and get help or advise as you work to rebuild your smart home.

Best regards and enjoy your Google Home!
Jon

I've "deleted" my home in the app, all my devices are unplugged and I have factory reset one of them so far. I've unlinked my accounts. There has to be more to do as my speaker groups were still showing up though.

This is the ONLY way to truly start fresh.... Unlinking and relinking does nothing. All the voice snippits are still saved on the Google dashboard. Once you relink your account all those old Snippets are still applicable until you  delete the voice data on the Google Dashboard  you're welcome all the other responses are invalid
