I’ve added my google account to my VIVINT app. My NEST thermostat loads on the VIVINT app but can’t control the thermostat.     
It looks like there’re not compatible like they claimed it would. Vivint tried to help but two hrs we weren’t successful. Had to call Nest and the same thing. Why try to fix something that wasn’t broke.

Thanks for bringing this up. Hi. Been reading the posts, here’s my situation. The Vivint app popped up with a page that said it’s time to migrate to Google. I called vivint to make sure I should do so and the rep said yes, so I did. The Vivint app still displayed and continues to display the thermostat but the thermostat disappeared from the panel. I can control the thermostat from the Vivint app but set points don’t seem to work. I can also control thermostat from Google. The rep said to go to vivint.com/nest to get the thermostat back into the panel but when going to that link, it redirects to home.nest.com where I can login with Google. She said I should be seeing a pop up that gives a pin code in order to add thermostat back to Vivint panel. This is very annoying! Please fix this!!

I’m literally having the same issue! This is so irritating. Had I know migrating all would cause suck an issue I would’ve never migrated all.

I am also having the same issue. I waited as long as possible to migrate my account because I was afraid it wouldn't work. Like you all I have called Vivint and instead of admitting it didn't work they had me try and remove them from the app and relink them, then reinstall the app, then update the panel. What doesn't seem to get through is that once you migrate your account you can NO longer get a code from Vivint.com/nest to add them back to the panel. If this doesn't get resolved soon guess I'll just ditch Google Nest products all together and find something that works as Vivint is the hub of everything in my smart home. Frustrating that my smart thermostats are now $350 dumb wall ornaments! This needs to get fixed very quickly!

Yeah, same here Charles.  Don’t know if this is what allowed me to control thermostat from Vivint app but go to settings menu by clicking on the 3 lines on the top left of Vivint app. Then, hit Works with Vivint - Google Nest - and toggle button on that shows the name of the room with the thermostat. That should connect them, hopefully. 

I did call Vivint back a day or so later and they said they are aware of this problem and are working on it. Will keep everyone posted if I find out anything new. 😊

Same issue as well with the Panel since the migration. Oddly, no issues when using the app. When I follow the directions on the panel to go to vivint.com/nest and get a PIN there, my log in credentials don't work specifically on that vivint/nest/google web page. But I can log into the others seperately without issue. Problem the website still don't give you a PIN to use with a vivint panel.What a screw up this has been!
