Can’t log in to nest on second device - any suggestions? 1 Recommended Answer 14 Replies 2 Upvotes

My husband and I both have the nest app on our phones for our home camera. Yesterday, I was kicked out of the app and it will not allow me to log back in at all. We have tried changing the password, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app also. I can access the camera from google home but the nest app itself gives notifications of a motion or person spotted whereas the google home app doesn’t do this which is the exact reason I have the camera. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions? Many thanks

This migration thing is ridiculous. I’m not even going to get into all the details of how difficult it was to do!! This should have been thought out better. We still can’t get everything set up and my husband can’t get access to anything! Not a smart move.

@Jenny Baggs, quick question — is your account migrated to Google? If yes, please make sure that the account of your husband is also migrated to Google. After that, invite him as a family member in your Home using the Google Home App. You may check the steps below:
  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home.
  2. Switch to the home you want to share.
  3. At the top, tap Add Add and then Invite home member.
  4. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and then Confirm.
  5. The person you invite will receive an email with instructions.
@Linda Mable, can you tell us more about what's going on? Have you had the chance of checking the steps provided previously? If yes, what's the result? If you have the same issue as Jenny Baggs, you may also try the steps I've provided.
