I know this is a known issue documented well in this forum, but come on Google -- you told me to migrate my account to my Google account three months ago, which I did, but gave me absolutely no warning that by doing so, I would be unable to use a core functionality, which is to display my cameras on Android and Apple TV. 

I've reported this to support and got the same run-around that others have been reporting for months -- that they cannot provide an update, or even an acknowledgment that they are working to restore this functionality. Functionality that, if it hadn't existed at the time, would have stopped me from buying my 11 Nest Cams/Nest Cam IQs to begin with. 

Google, it's long past time for you to acknowledge this problem and provide concrete information about whether or not this functionality will be restored. Otherwise, you're forcing people who, like me, are otherwise happy with the cams to replace our systems with another company. And once that happens, you know you'll never get those customers back for this disloyalty.

Dude I know how you feel... I just got the notice on my phone 2 days ago to migrate to google... So I did and today I notice that it wont load on the apple TV.... Called customer service and they were like oh well.    and says I should have read all the information online because its in there somewhere... I am not happy about it and the lady was like well it will be fixed someday.

Completely agree. Big black eye for google. Really diminishes the brand, in my opinion.

It’s pretty easy, stop your subscriptions, affect the bottom line of the product and they will be forced to fix the issue. We have 5 cams, each with a subscription. If we all cancel until this is fixed, it’s fixed in a release tomorrow.

Just discovered this by accident, not by migrating but by upgrading to AppleTV OS 13.3. Such a huge disappointment that we can no longer see our 6 nest cameras on our TVs. 
We are heavily invested in both Nest and Apple and this is a major bummer. We will not be renewing our subscription until this functionality returns.

I also did a support chat this past week as well (didn’t screenshot, but copied it all if interested in the details) where I was told basically the next non .X update would feature a fix for Apple TV integration. I guess it makes sense, given the CES announcement about 3rd party integrations with Google Home. 

Separately, I was told (because I asked) they were also working on integrating Apple Music into the Google music streaming service catalog. Take it for what you will, given it was a support person, but, a guy can hope. I migrated my account on day 1.. and have Apple TV’s on all of my tv’s at home for baby monitors.

The same happened to me today. So incredibly furious, can't believe they're so casual about it when the migration has caused such major problems for so many. I have 12 Nest cameras in my jewellery store and we relied heavily on Apple TV and 3 monitors to show our Nest cameras. My business is a LOT more vulnerable without this functionality. It's been a real blow to us. I think the way they've handled it is a disgrace - it seems they don't even know what they're doing..  I really hope that they find it in themselves to help us out by making a compatible app for Apple TV - it might not be aligned to their greedy centralised vision, but it at least would appease a massive amount of people who feel alienated and treated like dirt. It's the very least they could do given the amounts we're paying out each month for the subscription. SORT IT OUT GOOGLE - AND SOMEONE MAN THE F UP AND ANSWER.

I have multiple cameras installed in multiple locations.

The replacement and installation costs will be £1000’s.

There was no mention of this when they said migrate your account.

At the very least, the should let us roll back to the nest login.

Utterly rediculous.

I’ve half a mind to start legal proceedings and sue them to cover my costs!

Google, you absolute f****ers. Sort it out. Sooo frustrated.

This won’t go away you know, you’ve messed people up too much. You need to restore the Apple TV and Android TV functionality. 

I have purchased 16 cameras over the last 5 years and now they’re severely disabled. The suggestion to stream Spaces from a laptop is useless, I’m only going to ever see a couple of cameras at a time. 

I’m also more than infuriated at how there was no warning that we would lose this functionality if we migrated our accounts (added to the fact that there’s no way to revert). 

It’s 3 months since I migrated and I’m as angry about this now as I was when it first happened. If anyone is reading this and feels the same please keep the pressure on these c***s to restore our cams!!

When will this work with Apple TV again!?  When will there be an update!?  I can't believe you would torpedo your customers like that!!  We spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on your products and now we can't use them!  Fix it!!
