I bought a Nest Cam over 3 years ago to use as a baby monitor and it worked great! Easy to access on my phone, from anywhere, with excellent video quality. The recent forced update that keeps the green status light always on and BLINKING when I’m watching makes it impossible for me to use this product for the reason I bought it! I can’t find any contact info besides this community to express my concerns and request that they reconsider this forced update. Anyone else know how else I can reach out?

I also do not like having the light on all the time. It brings attention if you do not want anyone to know you have it. Please give back the option of having it on or not!

I went the electrical tape route to cover. Works but annoying to have to stick tape on such an expensive product

also a PITA if you have mounted a camera well above the ground and difficult to get to. GREAT WAY TO ALERT CROOKS ON WHAT AREAS TO AVOID TRESPASSING.  GOOGLE betrayed us.

Hey Google, how about a constant beeping sound to draw more attention to our discrete cameras.
