I bought a 3 pack of Nest temperature sensor and can’t connect one of them because of bad key 0 Recommended Answers 3 Replies 0 Upvotes

I bought a 3 pack of Nest temperature sensor and can’t connect one of them because of bad entry key. The other two work great but I can’t connect the last one. I tried to enter it manually and scanning the QR code.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here and I am sorry to hear that one of your sensor is not connecting. 
Google Nest temp sensor is powered by a battery and has a bluetooth connection. We can try to remove the batteries and leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes then try it again.

Hello, that is not the case as I can not get the initial sensor set up on the app, that would make sense if it was set up and it stopped working but I am not that far with this last sensor.

Were you able to connect the other two Nest temp sensors, and add them to your account?
Based on the information from your first post, the other two work great. 
 
By removing the batteries for minutes, that is the same as doing a complete reset of it.
