Google home will not play Pandora 1 Recommended Answer 18 Replies 19 Upvotes

I have Google Home linked to my Pandora account.  When I ask for a Pandora station, it announces the station, but then doesn't play any music.

This problem is happening on all of my devices (mini, home, and Hub)  On rare occasions it will play a station.  However if you ask for another all music will stop and nothing will play.

This problem has been happening for about 1 week now.

Sorry to hear that Pandora isn't playing as it should. You can try reinstalling the Pandora app on your phone. Remove and relink Pandora in the Google Home app too.

I did the following with no success
  • Un-linked Pandora
  • Uninstalled Pandora from my phone
  • Reinstalled Pandora
  • Re-linked Pandora
I ask Google to play Pandora.

She responded ok but did not play anything.

Similar is happening to me with Deezer. I too have unlinked and relinked Deezer and neither my Nest nor mini will play first time. What i have found is that if I ask for the same music  again just after the first attempt the music will play.

Pandora did that for a little while. But now I ask it several times and it still does not play

Having the same issue here and tries all the same solutions. It knows my accounts are linked because it says its playing, but no music. If I open the app on my phone it thinks I am playing it on two devices even.
