Control Tile using a Google Nest or Home speaker or display

To ring or locate a Tile device using your Google Nest or Home speaker or display, set up your Tile in the Google Home app.

Before you begin

  1. If you haven’t already done so, set up your Google speaker or display.
  2. Set up Voice Match so Google Assistant can recognize your voice and give you information about only the Tile(s) linked to your account, and not Tiles that belong to other members of your home.
  3. Set up your Tile by following the steps in the Tile app.

Link your Tile to Google Assistant

  1. Open the Google Home appGoogle Home app.
  2. Tap Devices Add Works with Google Home Works with Google Home.
  3. Select Tile from the list.
  4. Follow the in-app steps to complete setup.

Control your Tile

Basic voice commands

To do this: Say "Hey Google" or "Ok Google," then:
Ring the Tile on a specific device

"Ring my <Tile name>"

"Ring my keys," "Ring my bag," or "Ring my passport"

To change the name you use to control your Tile device, update the name of your device in the Tile app.

Disconnect Tile devices from the Google Home app

If you no longer want to control Tile devices using your Assistant, you can disconnect your account.

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Devices Add Works with Google Home Works with Google Home.
  3. Under "Linked," select Tile Unlink account.
