You can check the version of the Nest app by going to your phone or tablet’s Settings menu. You can also find the version number in the Legal menu of the Nest app.

How to check the version number in the Nest app
Turn on automatic updates
We recommend that you set your phone to automatically update the Nest app so you have the latest features and bug fixes as soon as they’re available. If you use the Nest app on a computer at home.nest.com, there’s nothing to download or check. It’s automatically updated as soon as a new version is available for that platform.
