Moving to Works with Google Home
If you want to use your Nest devices with WWGH, the script editor, or Amazon Alexa, you must migrate your Nest account to a Google Account. Once completed, migration isn't reversible.

One of the most popular WWN features was to automatically trigger routines based on Nest's Home/Away status. WWGH already works with many partners and devices, and integrates seamlessly with automations. These allow anyone to quickly customise how their smart devices work together based on simple triggers – whether you're leaving home or going to bed.
We've streamlined the migration of existing Nest devices already connected with your voice assistant and the Google Home app. When migrating your Nest account, choose the same Google Account you're using for your voice assistant.
Your voice assistant and any Nest device connection that you set up previously will continue to work as they did before migration. All your existing Nest device names, home and room assignments, and routines are all retained and will continue after account migration.
You can choose which data you share with Google Nest partners using the Partner connections tool.If you want to continue receiving doorbell announcements from your Nest Doorbell (wired, 1st Gen) on your Nest speakers and displays, you need to migrate your Nest account to a Google Account.
